Anika is primarily focused on printmaking, cyanotype, watercolor and drawing. She is inspired by the fine details of nature, and enjoys closely interacting with plants, animals, natural landscapes and the world around her. She works with strong themes of nature, discovery, immersion, and humanity. She utilizes a variety of sizes of pieces and the interactions between multiples, with recurring themes of movement or pauses in time, particularly in contrast to stillness. She enjoys inviting viewers into her work to experience, explore and discover her view of the world in collaboration with color, texture and light.
